The largest set of files deals with proposed revisions to the U.S. Internal Revenue tax codes, arranged according to code section. Other important subjects include the Burke-Hartke Bill (the Foreign Trade & Investment Act of 1972), other federal tax legislation, double taxation of multinational operations, the use of tax havens and tax credits, the use of foreign flag registration of American shipping, the problems posed by international trade boycotts and U.S. Congressional opposition to the Arab boycott of Israel in the early 1970s.
